Snowflake Achieves FedRAMP High Authorization on AWS GovCloud US-West and US-East – Snowflake

Today Snowflake announced they have received FedRAMP® High Authorization on the AWS GovCloud (US-West and US-East Regions).

The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) is a government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. This authorization enables Snowflake to protect some of the federal government’s most sensitive unclassified data across cloud computing environments.

This authorization will allow Snowflake to be deployed to support workloads across various mission critical environments such as the Department of Defense Impact Level 4 (DoD IL4) and possibly Impact Level 5 (IL5).
