Oracle cloud authorized to host top secret data for DOD

On February 15th Oracle announced the US Department of Defense (DoD) has authorized Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to host Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) missions. This expands on Oracle’s growing number of accreditations, currently serving government workloads up to FedRAMP High and DoD Impact Level 5.

DoD will use Oracle National Security Regions (ONSR) to process sensitive data and will use Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services to accelerate data analysis.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure has several National Security Regions that deliver services at DISA Impact Level 6/Secret and Top-Secret security levels.  Oracle’s National Security Group provides high performance, high availability, and open computing to the DoD.

Oracle is a long-standing strategic technology partner of the US Government. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure supports open data standards, AI and ADA initiatives, and is used by the Department of Defense and the government agencies.
